The 16th !f Istanbul Independent Film Festival’s !f Inspired International Competition has resulted. Our graduate Pınar Yorgancıoğlu has won the Audience Award.

!f Istanbul Shorts From Turkey Audience Award is given to the director of the short “Mrs. Nebile’s Wormhole”, Pınar Yorgancıoğlu, that was selected by !f audiences during the screenings.

About The Director
Pınar Yorgancıoğlu (Ankara, 1988) lives in Istanbul and New York. Her short films have been screened at prominent film festivals such as Warsaw, Antalya, Adana and Palm Springs. She is one of the founders of boutique production company Makarna Film. She is currently in pre-production of her first feature film. Her key films include Prayers at Dawn (2014).

Funda Şenova Tunalı joined the Department of Communication and Design in 2012. She received her BFA, MFA and PhD degrees in Graphic Design at Bilkent University, Ankara, and a European Media MA degree in Image Synthesis and Computer Animation at the Faculty of Art, Media and Technology, Utrecht School of the Arts, Hilversum, NL. She is working on digital typography, user interface design and contemporary sound design.
