COMD alumni Nisan Dağ (08) wins Antalya Film Festival’s Industry Forum dedicated to supporting a new generation of Turkish directors with her relationship drama “When I’m Done Dying.” The winning project in the forum’s Feature Pitching Platform is set amid Istanbul’s hip-hop scene. It is about a talented young drug-addicted rapper from Istanbul’s Sulukule historic gipsy quarter who falls tragically for a young woman from a higher social class. “When I’m Done Dying” marks Dag’s followup to Slamdance prizewinner “Across the Sea.” (2014).
