Biography
Fulten Larlar received her M.F.A., with honors on a Fulbright Scholarship. Her short film, “The Currycomb,” won the Eastman Kodak Best Screenplay Award. “Devrim Eskisehir,” the documentary Larlar co-directed/wrote/produced, inspired a feature-length fiction film “Devrim Arabalari” and was included in its DVD release. She was Story Consultant for “Seeking the Sultan”, documentary finalist of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Student Oscars Northeast, and Associate Producer of the multi-award-winning documentary “Waiting for Arif”. “Calling the Minstrel,” a short dance film she co-produced, was invited to screen at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics’ Cultural Olympiad. Larlar professionally reads screenplays for story analysis.
