Biography
Müge Mengü Hale joined the Department of Communication and Design in 2014. She received her BA in philosophy from The Bosphorus University, and MA in media studies from The New School University, NY with an emphasis on video production and earned a certificate on media management.

Müge Mengü Hale is an art and culture reporter, writer and editor with extensive experience in corporate and independent media. She worked as an editor for P Art, Culture, Antiques magazine, and researched and wrote on Ottoman, Turkish Republican and contemporary art. She worked as a reporter and feature writer for Doğan Media Group’s Finansal Forum and corresponded from NY for Referans Newspaper with her column “What’s New with New York”. Her other credits include translations for the UN, literary translations, and design study and research at The Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, NY.

She edits Bilkent Post, an online multimedia magazine compiled from COMD student work at bilkentpost.bilkent.edu.tr
