Biography
To further his career as a filmmaker and media artist, Wickham Flannagan received his Master of Fine Arts degree within the Mass Communications and Media Arts college at Southern Illinois University. After several years of lecturing on topics that range from Hitchcock to Glitch art and working as the cinematographer and director on a variety of experimental artworks and classical narrative films, Wickham moved to Ankara to continue his research and teach within the Communication and Design department at Bilkent University. Many of the projects that Wickham has worked on have been accepted into juried film festivals including the Underground Filmfest, Il Varco International Film Festival, and the Palace International Film Festival. His goals include providing students with the video production foundation to facilitate and provoke experimentation along with creative exploration within the digital medium.
