Faculty scholarship at COMD represents a diverse and international body of work spanning the fields of social sciences, humanities, and creative arts. The research output is characterized by its significant breadth, covering critical domains such as electoral integrity, political communication, media archaeology, critical posthumanism, adaptation studies, and immersive sound design.

Engaging in multi-methodological inquiries ranging from mixed-methods research to videographic criticism, COMD faculty produce scholarship across communication, media studies, film and screen studies, digital culture, political communication, public relations, and media theory. Their publications include monographs, edited volumes, book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, reviews, and videographic essays published by leading journals and presses in the field.
