We are proud to share that our graduate student Cemal Ataş has received TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support funding for his project.
“Correction-Message Strategies Against Health Disinformation: An Experimental Test of a Cognitive-Profile-Sensitive Design” examines whether correction messages tailored by large language models to how different people evaluate information are more effective than one-size-fits-all responses to misinformation.
The effectiveness of the messages will be measured in an online experiment involving 750 adults. The project aims to identify which approaches work best for whom and provide practical guidance for communication campaigns and fact-checking organizations.
