Our recent graduate and current MA student Nehir Üstündağ has won Best Experimental Film in the National Student Films Competition at the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. The award was given for her film everything i saw before i returned to your side (Yanına Dönmeden Önce Gördüğüm Her Şey).

About the director
Nehir Üstündağ is a 2026 graduate of İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University’s Department of Communication and Design. During her internship at the Bilkent Media Archaeology Lab, she worked with moving image celluloid film and gained hands-on experience with the medium. Using a do-it-yourself (DIY) approach, she developed and processed both color and black-and-white Super 8 film with equipment and chemicals she prepared herself. She is currently continuing her graduate studies in Bilkent University’s Media and Visual Studies programme.
