Work by students from Bilkent University’s Department of Communication and Design is featured in an international selection at the “Communication Design From Around The World” exhibition in Australia.

Hosted by Curtin University, the exhibition opens on Monday, 31 August and brings together student work from 11 countries. Grounded in the idea that communication design is never culturally neutral, the exhibition explores how visual languages, histories and ways of seeing shape design practices. Visitors have the opportunity to discover how different cultural perspectives inform decisions around the use of images, typefaces, symbols and composition.

The exhibition runs through Friday, 11 September at the Building 418 exhibition space, Koorliny Way, Bentley.

We wholeheartedly congratulate our students for representing our department’s young talent on an international platform. We are proud of them as Bilkent COMD.
